|
The choice between acquiring a degree from an online university or a campus based school is not always an easy decision. There are pros and cons to an online degree relative to the traditional campus based system for earning a degree and in this section we will help you understand the benefits as well as the potential downsides to choosing an online degree. For many, an online degree is an inexpensive, effective way to acquire a bachelors, masters, or even a doctorate degree, but there may be reasons why you may not want to choose an online university to receive your degree depending on your personal circumstances.
There is no list of factors that is a “one size fits all” primer. For some, an online degree makes the most sense, and then, it is just a matter of finding the right school. But for others, an online degree may not make the most sense. There are many reasons to choose one over the other, however armed with the right knowledge, a prospective student will be in a better position to make the choice that is right for them. The distance learning space is growing rapidly, and while some of the “diploma mills” are out there, trying their best to recruit everyone and anyone. Our goal is to provide you with the knowledge you will need to make an informed decision that is right for you, rather than jumping into the fray with little knowledge of what to expect.
